Surviving Winter

Hey all, it's Therapy Thursday and I have not set foot outside my house since Sunday. Sick toddler here. Before that, I had not left my house since Tuesday. I've been sick too. That's one outing in a week and a half. I'm a home body, but this is extreme. I wake up every day feeling like I have a hangover, and I'm not so sure it's the head cold or Nyquil anymore.

Any tips for surviving winter when you can't afford to be a skier?

So far my plan is:

1. Plug into the Sochi Games 24-7.

That's all I got.

One more week to go!

In the meantime, if you're looking for some retro Olympic drama, check this out and then come back and tell me if wanting to be rich and famous is the root of all misery. I think having a low tolerance for winter and continuing to live in Utah is the root of mine.

This winter, surprisingly, hasn't been bad for me at all. I've been taking vitamin D, exercising 5 days a week, and I've completely changed my diet. It might help that it's not snowing much so I don't worry as much about driving, who knows. I do hope you survive! I'll praise May when it gets here, that's for sure.
